Shape Measurement

Ever more importance is attached to exact 3D shape measurement in the mechanical engineering/automotive sectors. ISIS sentronics’ i-Dex tf table-top measuring system with integrated RayDex cr/ hr sensor is ideally suited for 3D measurements in interior spaces. Specifically designed optical measuring probes can cover diameters ranging from 1 mm to several 10 mm and lengths of up to 80 mm (2 pitch).

And the i-Dex f stand-alone system can even cope with object lengths of up to 120 mm (3 pitch). Deviations of sub-µm magnitude from an ideal CAD shape can easily be depicted in false colours and can also be quantified. Straightforward automated measurement of individual objects as well as palletised goods can be performed after manual loading.
