Our series of non-contact optical measuring instruments perform extremely fast high-accuracy thickness measurements in a wide range of applications. Patented SCI Technology (Spectral Coherence Interferometry) permits reliable round-the-clock total quality control, even under the most demanding conditions.

In the case of highly transparent materials with very smooth surfaces, such as glass or optical plastics, maximum thicknesses of up to 850 µm can be measured in-line during machining (e.g. grinding or polishing).

Information about other models with modified parameters is available on request. In the area of coated films and foils (adhesives and/or paints), layers of up to 350 µm thickness can be measured even under highly dynamic production conditions, such as in blown film extrusion. Moreover, very thin layers down to 5 µm can be measured with the StraDex system.
