ISIS sentronics is now pleased to offer the following technologies as customized OEM modules. Details on request.
OEM-Module 1
Extremely fast optical spectral sensor of highest precision
This module can be used to acquire layer information (“tomograms”) or layer thicknesses, as well as height profiles (“topograms”) with ultra-high precision (< 100 nm) at very high speed (< 100 µs). The optically encoded information is generated by optical interference techniques such as OCT (“Optical Coherence Tomography”).
Optical path lengths of almost 1 mm are attainable. The optical signal information in the wavelength region around 830 nm is spectrally resolved by the ISIS sentronics module and scanned by a multipoint sensor in parallel without involving any mechanical motion.
Subsequent high-speed signal processing in a FPGA (“Field Programmable Gate Array”) permits generation of a depth scan (tomogram) or layer information or of a surface height profile (topogram) at acquisition rates of up to 16 kHz. An even higher rate is possibly available on request. We can offer 1 to 4 channels.
OEM-Module 2
Extremely compact control of linear and rotary drives
This module can be used for very fast and reproducible control of linear and rotary drives. Thanks to modern piezo engineering, the motors combine the advantages of a high holding power, very good positioning (< 1 µm), large travel (> 20 mm), and high acceleration (< 3 g). An air bearing and integration of an optical path length module is recommended to meet very high demands on precision.
ISIS sentronics has developed electronics for control of piezo motors with minimal energy consumption and hence minimal wear. Feedback via an optical path length module permits very precise control while observing the limits set for maximum acceleration. Both conventional and air bearings can be used in an extremely compact construction. Motion may be linear or rotary, or a combination of both.
