StraDex f

This sensor head is an ideal solution for precise measurements on transparent or translucent materials with layer thicknesses between 5 µm and 300 µm. Owing to the small measuring spot size of 10 µm, the sensor can be used for rougher surfaces and with a greater angle tolerance. The working distance lies between 2 mm and 22 mm.
The new model StraDex f2-80 enables to measure polymer layers down to 5 µm and silicon layers down to 2.5 µm.

If the distance from the sensor head is greater or the materials to be evaluated are thick, such as in the manufacture of display glass, then the StraDex f-24 is used. The working distance here lies between 24 mm and 44 mm, and the maximum thickness of measurement (for glass) is 800 µm.

This sensor is optionally fitted with an air jet for removing dust and moisture, thus permitting use of the sensors during product processing.
